Kanab Real Estate Roundup Summary for the Month of November 2022

The short story is that interest rates are dropping a little, sales volume is going back to pre-pandemic times, but home prices are holding relatively steady.
If we look at historic data for Kanab, you'll notice the high volume of sales from 2019 to 2021, and that the volume of sales has dropped off since then, but the Days on Market is staying relatively the same. Prices almost doubled from 2020 to 2021, but we aren't seeing them slide back down to pre-pandemic numbers.
What's driving this???? As always, it is supply and demand. There are more people wanting to live in Kanab than we have housing for. Not just newcomers to the area, but families are growing, "kids" are returning home to raise their kids, and the population is just expanding.
